Kamau Daniels

Production Assistant at JELMA, Class of 2025

Kamau is a TV/film creative with varied knowledge in editing, screenwriting and graphic design. Here at JELMA he was a jack of all trades working with us to hold accurate records and documentation for museum collections, he assisted on digitization projects, and even taught weekly classes on design software’s to coworkers. Kamau graduated from Morgan State University in 2025 with a B.A. in Fine Arts with a concentration in graphic design, and currently works at a graphic designer for Mow.Art graphic design agency.

Kamau Daniels is a versatile visual storyteller and creative professional with extensive experience in graphic design, photography, videography, and digital archiving. He thrives on bringing ideas to life, whether through designing compelling visuals, capturing high-quality photos and videos, or managing digital collections with precision.

Over the past several years, Kamau has applied his skills across a variety of roles and projects: as Lead Graphic Designer Intern at Chandler/White Publishing, he’s collaborated with editorial teams to produce engaging print and digital layouts; as a Digitization Specialist at the James E. Lewis Museum of Art, Kamau assisted in digitizing and cataloging artworks and artifacts, ensuring their preservation and accessibility; and as a Photographer, Videographer & Graphic Designer for Morgan State University Athletics, he captured and produced multimedia content to elevate sports programs and branding initiatives.

Mr. Daniels is also the founder of Mow.Art Graphic Design Agency, where he help clients develop cohesive branding strategies and high-quality visual content using Adobe Creative Suite. Kamau’s collegiate experiences include: winning a campus-wide mural competition, earning national poster design recognition from Lionsgate, contributing to the redesign of a historic landmark at Morgan State University, and receiving multiple academic honors, have strengthened his dedication to creativity, excellence, and visual storytelling.
