The Library Display Project

In the Spring of 2015, Dr. Lori Johnson's art history students were directly involved with African artworks from the James E. Lewis Museum of Art collection.

After selecting several artworks and conducting research, students created identification forms, selected display cases to exhibit their respective artworks and worked in collaboration with the museum and library staff. Under the supervision of  museum staff, students learned to handle objects with the utmost care. Please enjoy the selection of artworks visible at the Richardson Library on the second and third floors.
